Colostomy UK is a charity that SUPPORTS and EMPOWERS people living with a stoma. They are here if you have questions, need support or just want to talk to someone who lives with a stoma.

Empowering ostomates to return to sports, hobbies and other interests and give them the confidence to take up fresh challenges. Advocating for ostomates’ rights and their voice on the bigger issues. Campaigning to raise awareness and encourage organisations to make their facilities more inclusive. Supporting and enhancing ostomates wellbeing is at the core of everything we do. Hidden conditions to be understood and accepted by all so that people can reach their potential.

The vision of Colostomy UK:

Support: to provide practical and emotional support and advice to people living with a stoma, their families, carers, and friends.

Empowerment: The aim of day-to-day work, projects and campaigns, is to empower people with stomas to reach their potential.

Advocacy:  to act as a voice for people with stomas, raising awareness of the issues that they face and engaging with organisations to bring about positive outcomes.
